This commission took me a little out of my comfort zone, as I am more used to doing seascape paintings. The brief was to paint an updated version of Jo and Warren’s country home, as they had been given an old one from the previous owners. Jo now has them in matching frames. Can you spot Nala the cat?

Carol asked me to paint a picture of the spot in Venice where husband Adam had proposed to her. It was a surprise gift for Adam’s 40th birthday, including tickets for a holiday to Venice. You can imagine his surprise when he opened his present on his birthday!

This commission was completed in December 2021 and was a 60th birthday present from Holly to her dad and shows them on holiday together when she was a little girl.

This commission was a Christmas present from Louis to his now wife Luka. It is from a beach in Montezuma, Costa Rica where they first met and then spent 6 months volunteering together at an animal sanctuary. They then married on a beach in Costa Rica in December 2022!

Pam asked for a painting of Slate Beach, Padstowe, in Cornwall as a birthday present for her daughter. Charlie the dog can be seen on the slate rocks in the painting.

Christine’s brief for her commission was to have a blue painting of her favourite view with kite surfers in it. The view is from Evening Hill looking out over Whitley Bay towards Sandbanks with Old Harry in the distance. The painting was created using a combination of the actual winter view, and several summer photos from the viewpoint with the kite surfers added in!
